SN D3559 is a No. 5 MK 1 (Jungle Carbine) dated November 1944. This example shows an excellent bore, matching bolt and the correct rear sight graduated to 800 yards. This carbine shows all original finish and is stamped England as required for export at that time. The magazine is correct but renumbered to other rifles.
